TrueWash is based in Charleston and runs routes through the coastal communities east of the Cooper, the peninsula, and the sea islands every week. Where we work
Isle of Palms
Beach houses on Isle of Palms and in Wild Dunes take the full force of salt spray and wind. Elevated homes with Hardie siding, stucco, and large decks collect a grey film and green algae on the shaded side within a season. Sullivan's Island
Sullivan's Island mixes historic cottages with new coastal construction, and many homes have metal roofs, Ipe decks, and screened porches facing the marsh. Low pressure matters here. Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant is where most of our route days happen: Old Village, I'On, Park West, Dunes West, Carolina Park, and the neighborhoods along Rifle Range and Long Point. Live oaks mean shade, pollen, and mildew on north-facing walls, and lagoon lots stay damp year round. House washes, driveway cleaning, and roof soft washes are the common requests. Daniel Island
Daniel Island homes are newer, with brick, Hardie, and painted trim that show algae quickly against light colors. Many neighborhoods have appearance standards, so owners tend to wash on a schedule rather than waiting for a notice. We handle house washes, roof cleaning, and concrete on the same visit. Downtown Charleston
On the peninsula we work on historic stucco, brick, ironwork, and painted wood with tight access between houses. Everything is low pressure and hand rinsed, and we plan around parking and neighbors. Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island
Kiawah and Seabrook homes sit under heavy tree cover next to the marsh, so roofs and shaded siding grow lichen and algae faster than almost anywhere else we work. James Island, Johns Island, and West Ashley
We cover James Island, Johns Island, and West Ashley on regular route days. Homes here range from brick ranches to new construction, and driveway and roof cleaning are the most common jobs. Request a quote with your address and we will confirm the next available day in your area.
Summerville, Goose Creek, and Hanahan
We take on homes in Summerville, Goose Creek, and Hanahan when we can group them with nearby jobs, which keeps pricing fair for everyone. Larger homes and full exterior details are usually worth the trip on their own.
What we clean in every area
