One-Time Cleaning vs a Maintenance Plan: Which Makes Sense?

Not every Charleston home needs a plan, and we will say that plainly. Some homes need one wash and nothing else for a good while. Here is how to tell which kind of home you have, before you sign up for anything.

What is the difference?

A one-time cleaning is just what it sounds like. You book a visit. We clean what you asked us to clean. We send you photos when it is done. That is the end of it. Nothing renews. If you want us back, you call.

A maintenance plan means we come back on a set schedule. That way, the house never gets far from clean. Visits are booked ahead, so no one has to remember. That is the whole difference. It is not better cleaning. It is cleaning that keeps happening.

For a one-time whole house soft wash, here is the usual price. Outside windows are included free:

• Under 2,000 sq ft: $500 to $675.
• 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft: $600 to $800.
• 3,000 to 4,000 sq ft: $700 to $950.
• Over 4,000 sq ft: $900 to $1,500.

When is a one-time wash the right call?

Some homes do not need a plan. If any of these fit you, book the single wash and feel good about it.

• You are listing the house soon.
• It is a first deep clean after years of buildup.
• You want to try a company first.
• You are cleaning before a big event.
• Your house sits in open sun with good air flow.
• You enjoy handling this yourself.

Listing soon is the clearest case. If the house will belong to someone else in a few months, it needs to look right for photos and showings. That is a one-time job. A first deep clean is similar. Get it caught up, live with it for a season, then decide.

When does a plan make more sense?

For some homes, one wash is a short-term fix. The things that made the house dirty have not gone anywhere.
